49th UAE National Day
We had the privilege to participate in one of the few major outdoor events that were allowed to take place this year: The Seed of the Union, as part of 49th UAE National Day Celebration in Abu Dhabi, on Dec. 2nd, produced by Larmac Live and organized by Flash Entertainment. This show, designed by the renowned Es Devlin, was such a success that other dates have been added until the end of January! The public can witness the work of kinetic art in action. This year again, Photon was chosen as the solution for its reliability and its capability to realign within minutes in extreme environments projectors, tracking camera system, and automation tracking.

Les filles et le code
Do you know the “Les filles et le code” movement led by Concertation Montreal? This community seeks to equip young girls by enabling them to develop skills and give them a taste for going into the field of technology. Each year, “Les filles et le code” organizes an event bringing together women in the industry and the next generation. The 2020 edition is about the circus! We could only accept this invitation! Our Photon Specialist, Gabrielle Martineau, will present 2 circus projects she worked on, in the middle of our lab!

VJ Day celebration in London!
Honouring the 75th anniversary of victory over Japan, the BBC filmed a spectacular televised tribute at the expansive Horse Guards Parade in London. Using the ornate architecture as the backdrop, show integrator Creative Technology chose VYV UK to ensure that the projections were spot-on.

We had the immense privilege of working on the Nova project in collaboration with Kodo and Ex Machina from the early stages of the creation process.
Even if the project could not be presented in public, considering the COVID_19 situation, working with Robert Lepage is still a source of inspiration and allows us to push our technology. More than ever.
