The product line

  • PHOTONThe all-in-one media server for infinite possibilities.
  • XENONMove into next-level architectural mapping.
  • TACHYONThe get-up-and-go compact media server.
  • ALBIONThe next dimension of 3D tracking.
  • COPERNICMark your show. Make your show.
  • HARDWAREThe gear to push pixels and capture the real world.

Installation & integration

  • System schematicsSingle-line drawings detailing system components and their organization.
  • Equipment packagesInformation available soon.
  • Signal & powerManage signal transport and electrical distribution on-site.
  • InstallationRack building, signal management and routing.
  • Acceptance testingSupport the factory (FAT) and site (SAT) acceptance tests.
  • Software integrationBetween PHOTON and other products — QLab, Navigator, NDI…
  • Hardware integrationTimecode generators, MIDI controllers and other devices.
  • Client supportSupport the client through installation.

Servers

  • Compact Work StationUp to 4 × Mini-DP 1.4 4K outputs · 512 GB.
  • 1RU ChassisUp to 4 × Mini-DP 1.4 4K outputs · up to 43 TB.
  • 2RU ChassisUp to 8 × DP 1.4 4K outputs · up to 98 TB · genlock card compatible · not for TACHYON.

Input cards

  • Decklink 8K4 × 12G SDI
  • Corvid 44 12G4 × 12G SDI
  • Corvid 888 × 3G SDI
  • Blackmagic Duo Mini4 × 3G SDI
  • With ALBION as a PHOTON controllerThe matching input card goes in the ALBION server.

Network configuration

  • Static addressesServers need static IP addresses on a dedicated network.
  • One switchAll servers connect to a network switch sharing the same network prefix and subnet.
  • Host numbersThe switch uses host number 1; servers range from 2 to 254.
  • Interface orderThe network interface in use must be the first one Windows accesses.

Signal paths

  • Video output portsThe physical connectors of the graphic cards that output the video signal.
  • Signal transmissionPoint-to-point, from a video output port to a display — fiber, HD-SDI, Ethernet…
  • EDID managementAvailable on the Quadro cards.

Support from VYV

  • System integration supportOffered to the project’s integrator to ensure optimal VYV equipment operation.
  • System upgrade integrationSupport during system upgrade operations.
